THE QUIET MISSION
These pages are about the healing of the world.
This includes the healing of all wounds, and of all error--political, social, economic, environmental, communal, familial, and individual.
My approach is not to say that the world's ills can all be cured in some instant way, or in my lifetime, or even in a thousand years.
I am not required to save the world.
But neither am I entitled to ignore it.
I will be the best I can be. I will be myself. I will care profoundly and love deeply.
I will remember myself, and in doing so, will remember all my brothers and sisters.
And my mission is to BE the highest expression of God's love I can be.
Take this mission with me. We won't be alone.

The Action
|

|
There are two primary forms of action to be taken when on such a mission. The first, and most fundamental, is internal action--"soul work". The goal is not to revise our souls, which are already perfect, but to get in touch with them. Our souls speak to us constantly, and when we remember how to listen without fear, we find that they guide us in all ways. Your soul's purpose is not to contradict your mind or your intellect, but to guide it, and to provide you with peace. Many believe that your innermost soul is your direct link to God--perhaps is God--and is what sustains you. Often the soul's messages do contradict with the messages we have learned from society, culture, or family. This can be frightening, but there is no true cause for alarm. Our souls will never lie to us, and our souls and minds together can find--or remember--the grains of truth in everything we encounter. We already know all that is True and Good in the world. We just don't know that we know. We don't remember that we know, but our souls remember.
